专家简介： 颜立新，教授，博士生导师，国家杰出青年基金获得者, 国务院政府特殊津贴专家。 1996年中山大学数学系博士毕业后留校任教，2004年晋升教授。曾先后入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划，国家杰出青年基金资助。 2018年度教育部自然科学奖一等奖的第一完成人。 主要从事调和分析领域的研究， 研究课题包括函数空间和奇异积分算子理论； 热核估计及非光滑区域椭圆边界值问题；限制性定理、谱乘子和Bochner-Riesz 平均；Schrödinger方程和波方程局部光滑性估计等。已在 J. Amer. Math. Soc., Comm. Pure Appl. Math., Memoirs of AMS,  Math. Ann.等数学期刊发表学术论文100余篇。

报告摘要：In this talk, we will first review some facts about the classical BMO spaces and the BMO spaces associated with operators. We then discuss the Garnett-Jones theorem on BMO spaces and applications.
